Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: South Wales

Contract Type: 12 months Contract

FTE: Full time

Company Summary

We're supporting a well-established pharmaceutical manufacturer in South Wales who is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join their engineering team on a 12-month contract .

This role is critical in maintaining production continuity by delivering both planned and reactive maintenance on a wide range of equipment. If you’re hands-on, electrically biased, and thrive in a fast-paced, regulated manufacturing environment — this could be a great fit.

Responsibilities;

Perform maintenance on process equipment, HVAC systems, boilers, compressors, and more

Electrical and mechanical fault finding and repair

Support integration of new machinery and continuous improvement projects

Maintain GMP and safety standards during interventions

Use CMMS tools (e.g., Maximo) to log activities and drive efficiency

Required Experience

HNC/ONC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Completed engineering apprenticeship in a regulated industry

Experience with cleanroom controls, HVAC, SCADA systems, and electrical systems (18th Edition knowledge preferred)

Familiarity with CMMS platforms and safety protocols

Able to work in varied environments (plant rooms, cleanrooms, shop floor, etc.)
