JOB SUMMARY: The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for operating various equipment, completing related assignments with precision and efficiency, and ensuring the proper care and use of maintenance equipment.

Operate various equipment for related assignments

Ability to read and comprehend AWM for various equipment

Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices

Load and unload equipment from trailers

Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Valid applicable CDL with air brake endorsement and clean driving record required

Must have valid First-Aid and CPR cards or be willing to obtain one

Ability to operate a skid steer and other small equipment

Experience operating heavy equipment

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Ability to reach, climb, kneel, lift (up to 100 lbs.) and walk for extended periods of time

Ability to work outside of normal work schedule

Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with employees and vendors
