About the Role:

As a Community Outreach Assistant, you'll be at the forefront of our efforts to build positive relationships within the community. You'll help plan and execute outreach programs and events while promoting awareness of our initiatives. This entry-level role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event management and community outreach.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in organizing and executing community outreach programs, events, and initiatives that align with our mission

Engage with community members to raise awareness and encourage involvement in various programs

Create and distribute promotional materials such as flyers, newsletters, and social media content to spread awareness of events

Collaborate with local organizations, schools, and community leaders to foster strong relationships and partnerships

Provide administrative support for outreach efforts, including event coordination, scheduling, and communication

Track the effectiveness of outreach campaigns and provide feedback for future improvements

Represent the company at community events, advocating for our mission and encouraging participation

Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)

A genuine passion for community engagement and helping others

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

A positive, proactive attitude and enthusiasm for public relations and outreach efforts

Creative thinking with the ability to suggest new ideas and improvements for outreach programs

Flexibility to work evenings and weekends for events as needed
