WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Med/Surg Nurse for a contract assignment at a prestigious hospital in Gardner, MA.

Job Function:

Night Shift.

11pm - 7:30am.

Prepares and administers prescribed medications (orally, subcutaneously, through an IV) and records the administration.

Reports adverse reactions to medications or treatments, in accordance with policies regarding medication administration by a licensed registered nurse.

Educates patients on surgical procedures and records their medical information and vital signs.

Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment used on patients and interprets and records electronic displays.

Job Requirements:

Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).

Current RN license for the state of Massachusetts.

2 years of acute Med/Surg RN experience required.

BLS & ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association required.

1 year of Med-Surg experience preferred +1 year of telemetry experience preferred.
