Solar O&M Technician - Ground Mount experience required

A leading name in the UK’s renewable energy sector is looking for a Solar Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Technician to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically qualified professional looking to build a long-term career in solar energy. The role offers hands-on experience with solar PV systems across large-scale commercial and utility sites nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair faults in solar PV systems and associated electrical infrastructure.

Carry out scheduled inspections and preventative maintenance tasks.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Support commissioning of new solar installations.

Complete detailed service reports and documentation.

What We’re Looking For:

Electrical background with experience in solar PV (installation, maintenance, or commissioning).

Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.

Full UK driving licence and willingness to work away from home (Mon–Fri).

NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Electrical Installation or similar.

18th Edition (essential), 2391 Inspection & Testing (desirable).
