Salary circa £40,000 + car + pension + 26 days holiday + bank holidays + benefits + training

Hours Mon – Fri daytime

Experience;

Must have hands on experience on:

Lifting & handling equipment & machinery, materials handling, mechanical handling, overhead cranes, etc.

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering discipline

You may be a maintenance or service engineer seeking a more ‘off the tools’ type of role.

Ex Forces background can be ideal but not essential - Royal Electrical Mechanical Engineers (REME), RAF, Army, Navy, Marine Engineer.

Duties;

Homebased, carry out surveys and inspections on a wide range of industrial, commercial and manufacturing plant and machinery.

Ensure equipment is safe and fit for use & complies with legislation (LOLER, PUWER, PSSR, COSHH) .

Write / complete reports.

You will be assigned varied & interesting work / companies to visit in your region but given freedom to plan and manage your own work.
