Sunward Federal Credit Union is seeking a strategic and detail-oriented HR Operations Manager to lead and optimize the daily operations and compliance efforts of our HR team. This pivotal role is responsible for ensuring a great employee experience through the efficiency, accuracy, and legal integrity of HR processes while overseeing a broad range of administrative functions and supporting a high-performing team culture.

Requirements
Essential Job Duties:
Lead and manage the HR operations team to ensure effective handling of employee inquiries, transactions, and HR program administration, including leave management and workers' compensation.
Oversee core HR functions including HRIS administration, help desk support, HR analytics and reporting, time and attendance systems, payroll coordination, unemployment claims and hearings, compliance activities and employee offboarding (including exit interviews).
Oversee all aspects of payroll administration, including employee data management, time and attendance tracking, and oversight of payroll processing through Sunward's HRIS.
Ensure consistent and compliant records management practices; serve as the official custodian of employee records in alignment with Sunward policies and applicable laws.
Respond to internal and external information requests, including employment verifications, public records requests, and internal audits.
Conduct regular quality control audits to maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational standards.
Collaborate with HR leadership to document, enhance, and streamline departmental workflows, processes, and policies.
Manage the day-to-day internal administrative operations of the Human Resources department. Required Skills/Abilities:

Comprehensive knowledge of HR operations, including compliance, records management, HR systems, and payroll practices.
Familiarity with federal and state employment laws, HR best practices, and data privacy regulations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex HR issues and implement practical, effective solutions.
Experience handling confidential information with a high level of discretion and integrity.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Education and Experience:
Minimum of 6 years of progressively responsible HR experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field-or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Salary Description
$92,668.80-$115,836.00 (Depending on Experience)
