About the Role

As a Jr. Project Manager, you will be assisting in the planning, execution, and completion of projects under the guidance of a senior project manager. This role is crucial in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead project planning and execution, including developing timelines, milestones, and resource allocation strategies with guidance from senior management

Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement solutions to keep projects on track and within defined parameters

Coordinate cross-functional team activities and ensure timely completion of deliverables while managing multiple priorities

Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, schedules, budgets, and status reports

Facilitate effective communication between team members, stakeholders, and senior management through regular updates and presentations

Support the implementation of project management best practices and contribute to process improvement initiatives

Manage relationships with external partners and vendors while ensuring alignment with project objectives

Provide administrative leadership, including organizing team meetings and maintaining detailed minutes Required Qualifications

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

Proven track record of successful project management experience

Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities

Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work independently

Proficiency in project management software and tools

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Experience in utility design/planning/construction or Information Technology Core Competencies

Excellence in scope, budget, and schedule management

Strong independent judgment and decision-making capabilities

Superior interpersonal and time management skills

Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Experience with requirements engineering and design tasks

Proficiency in project financial analysis and reporting
