Junior Developer

Anticimex is searching for a Junior Developer to assist in developing and executing a new middleware project. The responsibilities include participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle and product development. Your primary focus will be assisting with the development of middleware software, managing system integration and ensuring consistency in data and system communications.

Responsibilities & Experience

Develop solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigate problem areas; and follow the software development lifecycle

Assist the senior development team with aspects of software design and coding

Design and develop commercial/enterprise web applications, ensuring application performance, quality and responsiveness

Gather information from end users about program functionality and assist with requests from the development team

Collaborate with different teams, from core application development to integrations for end users

Employ a growing understanding of testing through unit and integration tests

Required Skills/Abilities

Ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system

Understanding of software testing methodologies

Team-oriented, with a willingness to work as part of a collaborative environment

Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills

Ability to prioritize and manage workloads

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field

Experience as Python developer and python frameworks

Familiarity with REST APIs and Node.js is a plus

Experience with database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB

Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3

Experience with the Google Cloud platform, including but not limited to Cloud Run, Alloy DB, Cloud Deploy

Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as GIT

Experience with development security deployment tools like (Snyk or Cycode)
