We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist/Programmer to join our team in Antelope Valley, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality parts and components with precision and efficiency.
Program CNC machines using G-code and M-code to create complex parts and components
Set up and operate various CNC machines, including mills, lathes, and multi-axis machines
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to determine machining requirements
Utilize CAD/CAM software to develop and optimize machining programs
Perform precision measurements and quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications
Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues to maintain production efficiency
Maintain and calibrate CNC machines and tools to ensure optimal performance
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing processes
Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
Stay current with industry trends and technological advancements in CNC machiningQualifications
3-5 years of experience in CNC machining and programming
Proficiency in CNC programming using G-code and M-code
Expertise in CAD/CAM software, such as Mastercam or SolidWorks
Strong skills in blueprint reading and interpretation
Proficient in using precision measurement tools and techniques
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Knowledge of various materials, cutting tools, and machining processes
Understanding of quality control standards and procedures
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Machine Technology or related field preferred
NIMS (National Institute for Metalworking Skills) certifications are a plus
Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and accuracy
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
Strong analytical thinking and decision-making skills
Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts, as needed
