Accounting Manager – Real Estate

Long-term opportunity with a nationally recognized brand

$135,000–$145,000 base + discretionary bonus

Hybrid Schedule: In-office 3 days per week

Team Structure:

You'll join a 7-person accounting and finance team, working alongside a Controller, two Accountants, FP&A Manager, and two Analysts.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day real estate accounting functions, monthly close, and financial reporting

Review complex leases for accurate CAM and tenant chargebacks

Coordinate with property and asset management teams to ensure timely financial results

Handle fixed asset and construction-in-progress accounting

Prepare lender reporting, budgets, forecasts, and tax support deliverables

Mentor and develop junior staff; drive process improvements and system transitions (Yardi Voyager 7 to 8)

Must-Haves:

5+ years real estate accounting experience

2+ years of leadership experience

Deep knowledge of Yardi Voyager

Strong interpersonal skills and culture fit

CPA and a career trajectory aligned with growth

Preferred:

Public accounting background (Big 4 or mid-tier)

Strong understanding of GAAP, CAM reconciliations, 1031 exchanges, intercompany transactions

Experience preparing lender packages and tax deliverables

Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
