Application Consultant-Mainframe, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US (Up to 100% telecommuting permitted): Provide senior level mainframe programming, analysis, and system technical support experience for active complex enterprise level projects. Provide team leadership and mentorship to project resources. Bring specialized development skills, business knowledge, and mentorship to integrate existing complex and spe-cialized legacy state enterprise systems with modern enterprise systems. Support and analyze, design, develop, and test interfaces with the central payroll system. Work on interfaces and con-vert existing data content to new data configuration formats, including creating special data trans-formations and configuration routines. Manage ADDI- Static Code analysis tooling SCLM- Source code management libraries ranging from Panvalet to GIT. Execute ADDI code scans and load code into SCLM tools. Convert and update code to higher Cobol levels. Create functional, opera-tional, and interfacing code logic in Cobol, Java, Assembler. Analyze code for modularization, de-commissioning, and refactoring zUnit mainframe language automated unit testing tooling. Re-sponsible for the management of Solution and Delivery of Mainframe Application Modernization in North America. Accountable and responsible for aligning the resources skills to solutioning and delivery projects. Responsible for the training of employees, delivery quality and utilization. Uti-lize: COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, IDMS, ENDEVOR and CHANGEMAN. Required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's de-gree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master’s degree) and one (1) year of experience as a IT Consultant or related. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, IDMS, ENDEVOR and CHANGEMAN. $181800 to 230200 per year. Please send resumes to .
