CDL A Route Delivery Driver

We are expanding and openinga new location in Jamaica, Queens this fall.We serve a wide range of customers including public and private schools, hospitals and nursing facilities, restaurants, independent grocers, supermarket chains and specialty retailers. POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking CDL A Drivers with at least 1 year of experience. This driver will beresponsible for driving a 48ft Tractor Trailer Truck, delivering and unloading various products for our customers. Overtime hours, working weekends and holidays, and starting at various evening start times are required in order to successfully meet customers' needs.

***MUST BE WILLING TO COMMUTE NEWARK, NJ FOR TRAINING

SCHEDULES:

Dispatch times : 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM

Shift : 8-10 hours per day, approximately

Stops per route: 18-20depending on location and route

Days off : Two days off in the middle of the week, must be able to work Saturdays and Sundays

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Deliver product within assigned route schedule and time windows.

Maintain Department of Transportation rules

Unloading of merchandise by the use of hand trucks
