About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned IT Program Manager to lead and oversee complex, cross-functional technology initiatives in the healthcare sector. The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of healthcare regulations, enterprise systems, and agile program delivery. You will be responsible for aligning business objectives with program execution, ensuring timely delivery, risk mitigation, and stakeholder satisfaction across multiple IT projects.Key Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale IT programs in the healthcare domain.
Drive program governance, define KPIs, and ensure alignment with organizational goals and compliance standards.
Manage cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality results on schedule and within budget.
Monitor program risks, dependencies, and issue resolution across multiple workstreams.
Implement best practices in project and program management, while adhering to HIPAA, HITRUST, and other healthcare compliance standards.
Partner with product, engineering, security, and clinical teams to ensure technology solutions meet business and regulatory needs.
Provide executive-level reporting and communicate progress to senior leadership.Required Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in IT project/program management, with at least 3–5 years managing healthcare-related programs.
Proven track record of delivering enterprise software, infrastructure, or digital transformation programs.
Deep understanding of healthcare systems, such as EHR/EMR, FHIR, HL7, payer-provider platforms, or clinical workflows.
Experience with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, and collaboration platforms.Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field.
Project or program management certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP, SAFe, or PMI-ACP).
Experience with vendor management, RFPs, and contract negotiations.
Knowledge of healthcare regulatory frameworks and IT compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, HITRUST, NIST).
