Job Description
JOB PURPOSE
The Quality Manager is responsible for the overall development, implementation, and maintenance of the Quality System. This position serves on the management team to establish strategic business objectives, quality measures, and quality system surveillance.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Adhere to all Safety Principles.
Adhere to all Quality System Standards.
Serves as the Quality Management Representative.
Manages the overall Quality Management System including documentation, implementation and maintenance.
Facilitate and lead efforts for Strategic Planning and Quality improvement.
Manages document control process including document release, control of records, document storage, and record retention.
Internal and external audit management.
Manages the Non-Conforming Material review process.
Prepares required written documentation for executive review.
Assist in on-the-job training of other employees.
Participate in Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery improvements.
Sound computer-based metrology experience (CMM).
Hand Gage Experience: Calipers, Micrometers, Height Stands
Ability to provide leadership to support and coordinate efforts that ensure our company achieves goals and objectives that are consistent with the company values and mission.
Supervisor may be required to administer dynamic on-site drug/alcohol testing on subordinates when there is a reasonable suspicion. These tests are administered for the safety of the employee and all other employees. Training will be provided.

QUALIFICATIONS
BS/BA degree in Mechanical and/or Quality Engineering
3+ years CNC Processing Experience
5+ years metrology experience.
5+ years in a decision-making technical, professional or management position; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to construct and write business documents including Quality Manual, Procedures and Forms.
Ability to communicate effectively with executive management and work group.
Excellent organizational skills.
Solid Modeling experience
Strong SPC (Statistical Process Control) background
Strong analytical background including problem solving.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook (Prefer Google Suite Modules).
Database and scripting preferred
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is performed in an operational warehouse environment. Specific job assignments may require day, evening, weekend or holiday hours. Overtime may be required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Team members are constantly standing, walking, carrying, pulling/pushing, bending, seeing, kneeling, stooping, reaching, hearing, as well as handing paperwork. Team members will be lifting objects weighing 50 lbs. or less regularly. Cleaning material and chemicals used regularly.
