Rise Vision is currently searching for a Head of Sales to grow our revenue.

Mission of the Head of Sales

Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, the Head of Sales is accountable for leading the sales team in its execution of our revenue strategy to achieve our revenue goals.

Role Responsibilities

Maintain an accurate sales pipeline to predictably forecast recurring and one time revenue.

Guide and coach the sales team to successfully navigate sales processes, including demos, legal agreements, security reviews, and procurement discussions.

Develop automation and manage CRM processes (HubSpot) to efficiently handle high volumes of leads and deals.

Become a product expert on Rise Vision, clearly understanding our messaging, how to effectively position and sell Rise Vision, customer pain points, industry trends, and the competitive landscape.

Reinforce the use of the MEDDPICC sales qualification framework to ensure high-quality sales processes and qualified opportunities.

Regularly talk to customers and resellers, and get involved in strategic deals to maintain a deep understanding of our customer segments, the problems they face, and the value they get from Rise Vision.

Ensure all activity is diligently logged in the CRM. Anyone can look at a customer's account and easily know the history within one business day of the last activity.

Own our sales processes, playbooks, templates, scripts, demo decks, and documentation.

Coach the sales team, review call recordings in Jiminny, and ensure the team works according to our standards.

Lead by example to create and maintain a culture of trust, candor, transparency, growth, learning, empowerment, performance and accountability.

Ensure each of your team members knows their quarterly targets and has clear visibility on metrics and their respective critical numbers so they can quantitatively account for their day, week, month, quarter and year.

Travel regularly to company meetings, trade shows, events, and customer sites to strengthen relationships with key customers and resellers.

Continuously validate and improve our tactics and processes by analyzing the data we aggregate.

Role Requirements

You have 5+ years of experience managing sales people.

You have experience selling a range of contract values and understand the differences between transactional SMB sales, mid market, and enterprise.

You have high standards for work, get tasks done quickly, love deadlines, appreciate the power of constraint, enjoy committing to a forecast, don’t need to be followed up with, and you’re a continuous learner.

You have sold hardware and software, and understand the challenges of each.

You know your way around a spreadsheet (the word “xlookup” isn’t new). You know what sales velocity is, and are confident talking about SaaS metrics.

You’re a glass-half-full person, and you’re practical. You roll up your sleeves and see an imperfect situation, tool, budget, etc… as an opportunity.

You’re an expert at HubSpot - this is our CRM, customer success system, marketing automation tool, etc… No, we aren't buying a different CRM.

You’re excited to get involved in a strategic deal and support your account executives in closing business.

You have multiple years of experience working with the channel/resellers and have relationships at the major IT/AV resellers and distributors.

You have experience selling internationally as well as in North America.

This role pays $150,000 plus $45,000 variable for a total OTE of $195,000.
