Position Summary
We are looking for a Program/Project Manager to serve in a key, highly visible role for our trusted transportation client in Phoenix Arizona. The Program Manager will help manage transportation programs for the area transit agency. The company provides a fully outsourced product which includes technology, management services and transportation services (through subcontracted providers) to manage the transportation of senior and disabled citizens for government transportation programs in the Phoenix area.
Position Responsibilities
· Lead and manage transit programs.
· Serve as the central point of contact/coordination and liaison between all departments of the program including Call Center, Customer Service, Accounting, Invoicing and External Providers.
· Manage external fleet vendor contracts and compliance.
· Manage the solution by which services are coordinated/executed with vendor partners and customers.
· Manage program policies and procedures.
· Manage stakeholder (government transit client) relationships.
· Manage any program issues and the necessary follow-up around those issues.
· Review and conduct analysis of program reporting data and make recommendations where opportunities for changes/improvements exist.
· Provide regular executive summary style reporting on program statistics/effectiveness to internal leadership and external stakeholders.
· Coordinate on boarding of new transportation providers including site visits and training on the technology solution.
· Support and manage customer and provider issues/inquiries on program and technology.
· Provide program, fleet and driver training as needed
· Provide marketing support for program.
Desired Skills and Experience
· 5 years of professional experience as a program, project or relationship manager – required.
· Bachelor’s degree in relevant area – required.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills – required.
· Management and leadership experience – required.
· Transit/transportation industry relevant experience – highly desired.
· Technology background including project management experience – desired.
· Ability to multi-task, dealing with numerous internal/external issues concurrently.
· Should be proficient in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint.
Compensation:
· Competitive Base Salary commensurate with experience (Target is $70-80,000)
