Responsibilities:
Manage Inside Sales Team:
Work directly with inside sales representatives to ensure consistency and adherence to defined company sales processes
Create a fun and motivational environment for the Inside Sales team to thrive in, while holding them accountable to clearly defined objectives
Provide coaching and mentoring for inside sales representatives in the areas of:
Net New Customer Demand Generation
Current Customer Relationship Development
Territory Product Diversification Plan and Execution
Upsell, Cross-sell, Renewals Management
OEM Partner Campaign Execution
Salesforce Adoption, Utilization, and Management
Proactively identify bottlenecks in the sales process and find ways to make the sales machine more efficient
Provide new-hire training for inside sales representatives
Provide continuous learning training on sales processes for inside sales representatives
Perform personnel management duties in accordance with the Employee Handbook and Talent Management Plan:
Accurate Time and Expense Reporting
Operating with integrity
Ensure inside sales representatives are satisfying core responsibilities and corporate obligations, to include:
Hitting/Exceeding monthly and quarterly goals and targets
Completion of all assigned Sales Certifications
Following employee guidelines and Standard Sales Procedures (SSP)
CRM (Salesforce) Processes and Data Integrity:
Develop and deliver reports, dashboards, and other data components to the Sales organization using the Blackwood Salesforce console
Quick expertise on Sales Operations functions within Salesforce related to quoting, processing orders, and building opportunities
Work with Company Leadership across divisions to enhance sales process improvement initiatives centered around the CRM
Partner Engagement
Establish and/or manage relationships with industry counterparts (manufacturers, distribution, teaming partners)
Basic Qualifications
US Citizen
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience
Willingness to permit a background check prior to Employment
Willingness and Ability to learn new COTS Technologies
Excellent Presentation and Written Communication Skills
Strong Time Management and Organizational Skills
Critical thinker, out-of-the-box thinker
Passion to grow, be challenged, and have fun
Experience as a Salesforce 'Power User'
Additional Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of managing sales-focused individuals with proven track record of success
Demonstrable experience of managing sales processes, including net new demand generation, renewals management, account management, forecasting, end-to-end sales cycle oversight
