Now Hiring: Machine Operators – Chesapeake, VA

Pay Rate: $17.50/hour

Schedule: Rotating 12-Hour Shifts 5:30 AM–6:00 PM and 5:30 PM–6:00 AM (Must be available for both)

Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

What You’ll Do as a Machine Operator:

Set up and operate machinery in accordance with production specs.

Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues on the fly.

Perform regular checks and maintenance to keep machines running smoothly.

Ensure high-quality standards are met with every product run.

Keep your workspace safe, clean, and organized at all times.

Accurately track production and report any irregularities.

Work closely with team members to meet daily and weekly production goals.

Who We’re Looking For:

High school diploma or GED.

Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Reliable transportation to and from work.

Flexible availability for rotating 12-hour shifts—days and nights.

Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.

Experience operating forklifts, clamp trucks, or motorized carts is a plus.

Team-focused mindset and positive attitude.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Eagerness to grow and be part of a continuous improvement culture.

Additional Responsibilities May Include:

Assisting in finishing, packaging, maintenance, or quality operations.

Responding to line upsets to support Rear Forming Line operations.

Participating in team meetings, safety discussions, and task forces.

Maintaining housekeeping and completing tasks as assigned by your supervisor.
