CNC Programmer / Manager â Muncie Area

Pro Resources is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer / Manager to lead machining operations at a manufacturing facility in the Muncie area. This is a direct hire opportunity with a company preparing for a key leadership transition. Ideal candidates will have strong CNC programming experience and a desire to step intoâ or grow intoâ a leadership role.

Key Responsibilities:

Program CNC machines (lathes, mills, live tool lathes, 5-axis mills) using CAD/CAM software

Design and develop custom fixtures and work-holding solutions

Lead and support a team of CNC machinists and operators

Oversee machining of aluminum, iron, and steel castings

Improve processes for speed, accuracy, and repeatability

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure workflow and quality

Maintain safety and quality standards on the shop floor

What Weâ re Looking For:

5+ years of CNC programming experience (including 5-axis mills and live tool lathes)

Experience with CAD/CAM tools like SmartCAM, Mastercam, or Fusion 360

Proven skills in fixture design and blueprint reading

Strong leadership potential or experience in a supervisory role

Hands-on experience machining aluminum castings

High School diploma or equivalent (technical degree a plus)
