Job Description
We’re looking for a Digital Research Strategist to join the digital team for the 2026 campaign cycle. We’re looking for someone who can track opponents and the race online, fact check, and help turn juicy moments into compelling stories that fuel our digital fundraising and content engagement. This role sits at the intersection of digital and research — part fact-checker, part oppo sleuth.
This position requires relocation to the Atlanta, GA area and a hybrid work schedule of at least three days a week in the office.
The Role
Fact-check all outgoing digital content.
Provide clear, accurate background research to support videos, emails, and graphics.
Surface news stories, video clips, and social media posts that can power rapid response content, fundraising emails, and social posts.
Collaborate with the research, comms, and rest of the digital team to pitch content.
Help write digital content that’s sharp, timely, and rooted in the news.
Requirements
2–4 years of experience in research, journalism, digital media, political campaigns, or communications.
Strong research and fact-checking skills — you know how to find accurate information quickly.
Highly online — fluent in news cycles, internet culture, and how stories spread.
Solid writing skills; you can summarize complex information in a clear, compelling way.
Detail-oriented, self-directed, and able to manage multiple fast-moving projects.
Experience with opposition research, political comms, or digital fundraising is a plus — but not required.
