A well-established transportation company is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager,

motivated, committed, energetic team player who would like to join our team.

Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the daily operation of accounting department

Track daily cash activity, records daily cash receipts and other journal entries according to GAAP

Review and oversee AP and AR

Prepare and review properly documents

Process intercompany transactions

Prepare monthly bank statement reconciliations

Processing and Ensuring an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close

Run weekly reports for higher management

Debt Schedule

Accounting Department activities including but not limited to month and close, AP process, company expenses, AR process, financial statements preparation, G-L maintenance and periodic projects .

Requirements:

An Associate degree in accounting, a Bachelor's degree in accounting (preferred)

2 years of accounting manager experience in Logistics industry

Strong knowledge of GAAP, EBIDTA

Strong knowledge of regulations of Tax Law - State and Federal

Supervising skills

Strong knowledge of Quick Books and MS Office

Ability to work independently and multitask

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am - 5pm CST
