Job Title: Project Manager / Project Architect (Hybrid)

Location: Chesapeake, VA

Representing an award winning multi-discipline architecture firm with multiple offices throughout Virgina, D.C., and Maryland. We offer expertise on an extensive and diverse project types. It is not required, but K-12 experience is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Develop architectural designs and creative concepts tailored to project goals.

Prepare and refine project documentation across all architectural phases, including site plans, floor plans, building elevations, sections, and details.

Collaborate with consultants to coordinate building systems (structural, mechanical, electrical, etc.) for design integration.

Adapt designs to accommodate evolving client needs.

Ensure compliance with building codes and regulatory requirements.

Oversee the implementation of design adjustments, working closely with contractors and construction teams.

Attend and contribute to project coordination meetings with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.

Architeture License.

7+ years of professional architectural experience.

Comprehensive understanding of all phases of architectural documentation.

Skilled in space planning, program coordination, and developing adjacency diagrams.

Demonstrated ability to review work for accuracy and manage time to meet project budgets and schedules.

Effective team collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.

Strong project management and communication capabilities.

Knowledgeable in accessibility standards and building codes.

Familiarity with building construction systems.

Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite
