Job Title: Electrode Department Operator

Job Description

Join our Electrode Department as an Operator, where you will play a vital role in our night shift operations. The schedule involves a rotating pattern of 6 pm to 6 am shifts, with two days on, two days off, followed by three days on. This results in working 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next, including every other weekend. You will be an integral part of three key departments: Mixing, Coding, and Production.

Responsibilities

Prepare equipment and materials for production.

Operate equipment according to the OP Manual, input materials, and monitor defects/loss for continuous self-inspection of the product.

Maintain accurate records of production work in GMES (Global Manufacturing Execution System).

Track all non-conformations and scraps.

In the Mixing department, wear full mask respirators 2-3 times a day while handling powders, ensuring safety around chemicals.

In the Coding department, wear masks and occasionally manage tasks in oven rooms with high temperatures.

Assist with machinery operation, including pulling and pushing guided reels weighing up to 75 pounds.Essential Skills

Minimum 9 months tenure at each previous job.

At least 6 months of manufacturing experience.

Ability to work in environments requiring PPE.

Production, Cleanroom, Assembly, Machine operation, General production skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience preparing equipment and materials for production.

Ability to operate equipment and monitor defects/loss.

Proficiency in maintaining accurate production records in GMES.

Work Environment

The facility is vast, requiring extensive walking between buildings and throughout the plant. The department operates within a clean room, necessitating garb and beard nets if applicable. The environment is meticulously clean, temperature-controlled, and brightly lit, emphasizing 5S3K principles. Employees must adhere to strict PPE guidelines, including no jewelry and no facial hair that interferes with respirator use.

This is a Permanent position based out of Holland, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $47840.00 - $47840.00/yr.

Offers 100% company paid health insurance premiums for full-time employees and their eligible dependents. This means that no funds are deducted from an employees’ paycheck for medical, dental, and vision benefits. Benefits start the first of the month from when you start. Company provides $110 per week for employees to pay for babysitting services through a user-friendly app.
