Job Title: Boiler Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Boiler Operator to maintain our heating systems and high-pressure boilers. This role involves ensuring equipment is maintained at 50psi and conducting necessary chemical balance checks. You will be responsible for state inspections, disassembling and reassembling boilers, and maintaining hydraulic systems, compressors, and boilers throughout the facility. Routine maintenance on equipment and maintaining steam traps are also key aspects of this position. Additionally, you will grease production equipment and fill automatic lubrication systems, assist maintenance personnel, perform minor repairs, clean heat exchanges and cooling towers, change filters, and undertake janitorial duties during boiler operations.
Responsibilities
Maintain heating systems and high-pressure boilers, ensuring chemical balance and equipment functionality.
Conduct state inspections including disassembling and reassembling boilers.
Manage hydraulic systems by filling and refilling, and change filters.
Maintain five compressors and five boilers throughout the facility.
Perform routine maintenance on equipment and maintain steam traps.
Grease production equipment and fill automatic lubrication systems.
Assist maintenance personnel as needed.
Perform minor repairs on buildings, fixtures, and equipment.
Clean various heat exchanges and cooling towers.
Change filters regularly.
Assist with janitorial duties including cleaning bathrooms and offices.
Work Environment
The position operates on a 2-2-3 schedule, with shifts from 7a to 7p or 7p to 7a, providing flexibility and direct hire opportunities within a unionized environment. The facility offers a dynamic and stimulating workplace for motivated individuals.

The pay range for this position is $75400.00 - $75400.00/yr.
