This part-time position requires a skilled to work onsite for five hours, one day a week, assisting students in goal setting and personal development.
Qualifications:
Active California School Counselor License
Masters degree in School Counseling or a related field
Previous experience working with elementary school students
Strong munication and interpersonal skills
Ability to develop and implement effective counseling programs
Knowledge of developmental psychology and educational best practices
Proficient in collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrative staff

Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group counseling to students, fostering emotional and social development
Collaborate with teachers and staff to identify student needs and create tailored action plans
Conduct assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress and adjust goals as necessary
Facilitate workshops and presentations for parents and guardians on supporting student success
Maintain accurate and confidential student records and documentation
