Job Title: Production Associate - Slitter Helper

Job Description

The slitter helper will support the slitter operator in the production of adhesive tapes. This role involves packaging tape into boxes and assisting the slitter operator with taking finished products off the line.

Responsibilities

Support the slitter operator in the production of adhesive tapes.

Package tape into boxes accurately.

Assist with taking finished products off the production line.

Utilize a tape measure with a strong understanding of fractions and decimals.

Follow all safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.Essential Skills

Previous manufacturing and machine operating experience.

Ability to follow all safety guidelines.

Proficiency in using a tape measure to measure width and size of adhesive tapes.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in general production and machine operation.

Skills in packaging, inspection, and packing.Why Work Here?

This smaller facility offers abundant opportunities for growth. The slitter assistant receives training to become a slitter operator, a role that can pay up to $25-$26 per hour at the end of a three-month contract-to-hire period.

Work Environment

The position is available on two shifts: 1st Shift from 7:45 AM to 4:00 PM and 3rd Shift from 11:45 PM to 8:00 AM, with occasional weekend work. Personal protective equipment includes steel toe shoes, with gloves, bump caps, and safety glasses provided by the employer.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mount Juliet, Tennessee.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
