Job Title: 2nd Shift - CNC Machinist
Job Description
Join our team as a CNC Machinist, where you will set up and operate CNC mills and lathes, specifically working with brands such as Haas and Mazak. This position involves working on a Mori Horizontal Mill, performing both first and last piece inspections using precision measuring tools, and editing G&M code directly at the machine. Expect varied runs from 5 minutes to 3 hours, and part runs ranging from 5 to 1200 pieces. The role involves lifting up to 50 pounds, with larger items managed using a crane.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes.
Perform first and last piece inspections using precision measuring tools.
Work off of prints and edit G&M code at the machine.
Manage runs ranging from 5 minutes to 3 hours and part runs from 5 to 1200 pieces.
Lift up to 50 pounds, utilizing cranes for larger items.Essential Skills
Minimum of 2 years experience running CNC mills and lathes.
Proficiency in editing G&M code.
Ability to set up CNC machines.
Competence with precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with CNC programming and inspection.

Work Environment
Operate on the 2nd Shift from 3pm to 1:30am, Monday through Thursday, with optional work before shifts and opportunities for additional hours on Fridays. Join a team of 18 skilled machinists in a dynamic and growth-focused setting.

This is a Permanent position based out of Evansville, Wisconsin.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $50000.00/yr.
