Job Description
Stand up type forklift experience 100% necessary! Go to work position with minimal training desired.
Lunch: half hour
Candidates considered for the role will be responsible for performing all duties as either a freight handler and forklift driver. All candidates must be willing to unload/load freight from containers, palletize and performing quality checks on product. Candidates must be willing to lift 50-75 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Associates will start offloading for the first few days to understand supply chain process
- This is vital to the client as some days they will need drivers to cover a shortage of freight handlers
Candidates considered for the forklift role will be responsible for operating stand up forklifts.
Inbound roles are split 60% on / 40% off forklift
Outbound roles is 60% on / 40% off on forklift (Stand-up Loader/Reach/Cherry Picker)
Utilizing RF scanner to cross reference and check for accuracy
Forklift test must be passed & completed prior to first day.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Must Haves
-Cross Dock Experience in warehousing
-Ability to lift 50-75 lbs. repeatedly. Occasionally will lift 120 lbs. between two people.
-Attention to detail with reading numbers and SKUs
-Willingness to unload/load trucks for entirety of the shift
-If a forklift driver, candidates must have at least 6 months of "Stand Up" forklift experience
Like to Haves:
-Previous experience operating Crown Electric standup loader/cherry picker/stand up reach forklift
-Previous experience operating various styles of sit down forklift

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
