Pricing Analyst

2 plus years of experience as a Commercial Pricing Analyst

Venteon Finance is currently seeking a Commercial Pricing Analyst for a leading automotive manufacturing company located in the metro Detroit area. This role is focused on collaborating cross-functionally with Finance, Sales, and Purchasing to ensure accurate price forecasting, conducting analysis of Long-Term Agreements, and supporting the development of pricing models for budgeting and forecasting.

Requirements of the Commercial Pricing Analyst

Bachelor s degree in Finance or Accounting.

2-5 years of experience in pricing analysis, financial analysis, or a related field, preferably within the automotive or manufacturing industry as Tier I supplier.

Experience with financial forecasting, budget development, and variance analysis.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced skills required); experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools is a plus.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets and present clear, actionable insights.

Responsibilities of the Commercial Pricing Analyst

Collaborate closely with the Sales team to ensure the accuracy of price forecasts through review of customer agreements.

Provide ongoing analysis and insights into forecasted pricing changes.

Evaluate historical pricing data service components, sales performance, and profit margins to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

Perform detailed analysis of LTAs to assess pricing structures, identify trends, and ensure compliance with contractual terms.

Support the forecasting and budget planning process through analysis of actual results and variances to forecast and budget, with a focus on sales volume, price, and mix.

Support the development of pricing models for the annual budget and forecasting cycles, ensuring pricing assumptions are aligned with market trends.
