About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Machine Helper to join our team in the Non-Durable Goods Manufacturing industry. As a Machine Helper, you will be responsible for assisting in the production process by setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery. Your primary goal will be to ensure that production runs smoothly and efficiently, while maintaining a high level of quality control. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience working in a manufacturing environment
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics
Basic math and computer skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles
Experience with quality control processes
Ability to work in a team environment
Strong problem-solving skills
Responsibilities:
Assist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of machinery
Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machinery
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Skills:
As a Machine Helper, you will use your technical knowledge and attention to detail to ensure that production runs smoothly and efficiently.
