Job Description

This position involves TIG welding of stainless steel exhaust systems ranging from 1/8" to 1/2" thick. The role supports the automotive and heavy-duty industries, focusing on low production welding of exhaust systems and repair welding from robotic welds. The primary responsibility is manual welding, but when demand is lower, running robotic weld machines and continuous resistance welders is expected.

Responsibilities

Perform manual welding functions independently.

Operate, set, and maintain manual production welding equipment.

Run robotic weld machines and continuous resistance welders as needed.

Troubleshoot robotic weld machines and train operators on their use.

Monitor quality, process paperwork, and maintain the work area.Essential Skills

2 years of TIG Welding experience on stainless steel ranging from 1/8" to 1/2" thickness.

1+ year of stainless steel welding.

1+ year of experience in welding 1/8" material.

1+ year of experience in blueprint reading and weld symbol identification.Additional Skills & Qualifications

3-5 years of TIG welding experience is preferred.

Experience with robotics is advantageous.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
