Minimum 1+ years pharmacy experience required.

A critical access hospital in Gardnerville, NV is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist for a full-time, 13+ week temp-to-perm assignment. This position supports a 25-bed hospital with inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and surgical services, including an Infusion Center that handles biologics and chemotherapy.

Duties:

Fill and dispense medications for both inpatient and outpatient care

Verify and interpret physician medication orders

Maintain accurate and up-to-date medication profiles

Communicate with healthcare providers to ensure safe and effective medication use

Manage controlled substances and investigational medications

Ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards

Schedule/Shift:

Monday through Friday

7:00 AM 5:00 PM

Occasional weekend coverage (Saturday and Sunday)

Requirements:

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)

Active Nevada Pharmacist License

Current BLS Certification

Minimum 1 year of hospital experience OR completion of a pharmacy residency

Acute care experience preferred

Proficient in USP 797 and USP 800 guidelines
