Job Summary:
The Paraprofessional will work under the supervision of the lead educator and assist in providing educational support to students with various needs. The Para will assist with classroom management, individualized support, and carry out tasks to ensure an effective learning environment for all students.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist teachers in classroom management and instructional activities.
Provide one-on-one or small group support for students with diverse learning needs.
Support students in pleting assignments, activities, and projects.
Help monitor and supervise students during classroom activities, transitions, and breaks.
Assist in preparing and organizing teaching materials and classroom supplies.
Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) under the supervision of a licensed teacher or special education staff.
Foster positive student behavior and development.
Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions as required.
Maintain accurate records related to student progress and activities.
municate effectively with teachers, parents, and students.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent (Associates Degree or higher preferred).
Previous experience working with children or students with special needs is a plus.
Strong munication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Patience, flexibility, and a mitment to student success.
