Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated forklift operator to join our team. The role involves working on an order picker, pulling doors, and requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. The ideal candidate will have experience with both order picking and forklift operation.
Responsibilities
Operate a sit-down forklift and cherry picker/order picker, capable of reaching up to 30 feet in the air.
Pick orders using pick sheets, with a willingness to learn new technologies as systems are upgraded.
Physically pull doors down and stack them on pallets while using a combination of forklifts.
Unload trucks and move materials into the warehouse, ensuring efficient and safe operations.
Engage in physical labor, including lifting and moving heavy items up to 50 pounds, and being on your feet all day.Essential Skills
Experience operating a sit-down forklift and cherry picker/order picker.
Ability to work in a physical, fast-paced environment and lift up to 50 pounds.
Comfort with heights and ability to adapt to new technologies as needed.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency in using a tape measure and racking systems.
High-level experience with an order selector forklift is preferred.

Work Environment

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sacramento, California.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
