We're seeking a skilled Labor & Delivery Nurse to provide holistic care that spans physical, emotional, and educational needs-ensuring optimal patient outcomes through evidence-based practice and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive physical, psychosocial, and spiritual assessments

Develop, implement, and evaluate patient-centered plans of care

Administer medications, manage IVs, perform wound care, and collect specimens

Educate patients and families, assess learning readiness, and evaluate effectiveness of teaching

Advocate for patient rights, safety, and well-being in all care interactions

Serve as a clinical mentor and support team development

Use quality improvement data and evidence-based research to improve outcomes

Float to nearby CommonSpirit locations as needed (within 60 miles)

Required Skills & Certifications:

1+ year recent experience preferred

Proficient in core RN responsibilities and L&D-specific skills

RN license (state or compact - NLC)

BLS (AHA) - Required

NRP - Required

Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) or AWHONN Certification - Required

Education:

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) - Required

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) - Preferred
