CLASS 1 TRAMPER DRIVER

Monday - Friday: Start times between 05:00am-07:00

£15.75 per hour

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 1Tramper Driver to join our well-established client based in Gloucestershire.

Basic: £15.75 an hour

Overtime paid after 9.5 hours

Day to Day Duties

Your duties as a Class 1 Driver will involve but not be limited to:

Trunking to Swindon, tramping overnight and back to depot

Operate and drive various Class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations

Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly

Adhere to traffic laws and regulations

Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers

Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management

Essential Skills

As a Class 1 Driver you will need to:

Hold a valid UK Category CE Licence

Have a minimum of 24 months experience driving CE vehicles

No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes

Have a valid UK CPC Card and UK Digi Card

Must be able to speak and read a good level of English

Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills

Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations

Effective communication skills

Desirable Experience

Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial

Previous experience.

Training

Driver's Assessment will have to be completed

After successful Assessment training will be provide
