Job Title: Cobol Software Engineer

Location: Chandler, AZ (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

Duration: 18 months

Pay Rate: $80.00/HR W2 (No C2C)

Job/Role Description:

Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering.

Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors.

Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables.

Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.

10+ years application development and implementation experience.

7+ years of combined experience in COBOL in an IBM zOS environment

7+ years of experience of CICS development, including new development and debugging/refactoring existing code.

5+ years of experience using JCL to execute large-scale batch processes

5+ years of experience with DB2 or equivalent relational database platform

5+ years of experience using enterprise job scheduling packages such as CA7, CA11, and/or AutoSys

5+ years of experience using enterprise source control packages such as Endevor

3+ years of web services and restful APIs

5+ years of using VSAM files

3+ years of experience in MQ

1+ years of experience on debugging tools like Xpediter, abend aid
