Job Description:

Syntax Talent Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced IP Paralegal specializing in trademark law to join our team permanently. The ideal candidate will support our attorneys in managing trademark portfolios, conducting trademark searches, and preparing trademark applications. Key responsibilities include:

- Conducting trademark searches and analyzing results.

- Preparing and filing trademark applications, renewals, and other related documents.

- Managing trademark portfolios and maintaining records.

- Coordinating with attorneys on trademark prosecution and enforcement strategies.

- Conducting research on trademark-related issues.

- Assisting in the preparation for trademark litigation and opposition proceedings.

- Communicating with clients regarding trademark matters and updates.

- Ensuring compliance with trademark regulations and deadlines.

Skills Required:

- Strong understanding of trademark laws and procedures.

- Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.

- Proficiency in legal research and writing.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Familiarity with trademark management software is a plus.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or paralegal certification preferred.

- Minimum 3 years of experience as an IP paralegal, with a focus on trademark law.

- Experience in a legal setting, preferably within an IP law firm or corporate legal department.
