Food Service Worker - University Campus

Location: Waltham, MA

Schedule: Varied Shifts (6:30 AM - 2:30 PM 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM)

Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour

Position Overview:

Dean's Professional Services is seeking a reliable and motivated Food Service Worker to support operations at a university campus in Waltham, MA. This full-time utility role ensures consistent staffing throughout the summer months, offering a competitive hourly rate and a stable schedule with varied shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

Support daily dishroom operations including washing dishes, trays, utensils, and kitchen equipment.

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, dining, and service areas.

Sweep, mop, and perform general cleaning and maintenance tasks.

Complete special project work as assigned to support overall food service operations.

Follow all safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.

Work as part of a team to ensure a clean and organized environment for staff and students.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Prior food service, janitorial, or kitchen utility experience preferred but not required.

Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts, including weekends or holidays if needed.

Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.

Strong communication skills and a willingness to work collaboratively.
