H2 Performance Consulting (H2) is seeking a Database Administrator to support a Navy contract out of China Lake, CA.
The Database Administrator responsibilities will include:
· Administer, test, and implement computer databases, applying knowledge of database management systems.
· Coordinate changes to computer databases.
· Identify, investigate, and resolve database performance issues, database capacity, and database scalability.
· May plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard computer databases.
· Support cloud technology, including analyzing the existing environment for suitability and scalability; participating in the acquisition of design tools; and managing cloud architecture, and migration and optimization activities.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Active DoD Secret clearance required.
3-10 years of experience providing database administration support for the sustainment, modernization, and cyber compliance of Oracle and Microsoft Structured Query Language (SQL) database environments.
Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field (4 years of additional experience may be substituted or AS degree and 2 years of additional experience).
CompTIA Security+ CE Certification.
Expert knowledge of the Oracle Database and Microsoft SQL Server capabilities.
