Part-Time Air Traffic Controller Specialist

Salary:

Position duties include, but are not limited to the following requirements: monitor all navigational aids; formulate and distribute Notice to Airmen; direct and control movement of aircraft and vehicular traffic on the ground that could compromise the safety of arriving and departing aircraft; measure, interpret, and relay weather data/reports; coordinate with Ft. Worth Center and Flight Service Station to facilitate the safe and expeditious flow of traffic into, out of and transitioning through our airspace; initiate crash phone in all emergencies; provide weather report/observations to Ft. Worth Flight Service Station for entry into the National Service system if the Automatic Weather Reporting System is not working; coordinate with adjacent air traffic for flight clearances and releases; monitor and report bird conditions; track aircraft departures and arrivals; report to program managers upon arrival of program aircraft; file appropriate internal paperwork prior to contract flight departures.

Minimum/General Experience Requirements: Individual must have a previous Facility CTO Certificate and a current Class II Medical Certificate. Position is subject to an FAA background/suitability investigation, and drug and/or alcohol testing per CI2 Aviation's DOT policy (pre-employment, random, reasonable cause/suspicion, post-accident). Individual must have held a Control Tower Operator Certificate (CTO) with a facility rating for a minimum of four years in an Air Traffic Control Tower.

Additional experience required for the Air Traffic Manager position: Individual must have a minimum of two years of air traffic control tower supervisor experience or 5 years of ATC experience and must be a high school graduate.
