General Labor duties include connecting hoses, climbing ladders, operating fire hose washing down sludge, site cleaning, light maintenance, shovel clean-up work, and interior tank cleaning. Adhere to all applicable regulations to provide safe, reliable, and cost effective site support, permit, and other applicable requirements. All work will be performed outside in any weather.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES

Unload tools, hoses, fittings, and pumps from job trailer.

Assist in job set-up, tear down, and day to day operations.

Travel from job site to job site or plant to job site. Involves overnight travel.

Communicate and inform supervisor of all major problems.

Prepare and complete equipment checks at the start of every shift and complete all necessary forms.

Monitor confined space oxygen levels and assist tank entry personnel.

Perform any general work or other assignments necessary to ensure the safe, clean, and efficient operation of the work site to include sweeping, shoveling, fire hosing and other housekeeping activities.

Enforce and maintain standard safety procedures and always maintain a clean work area.

Participate and complete training programs within the time frame allotted. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other agencies and the public

Communication skills - verbal and written

Ability to perform basic math

Ability to work varying shifts, overtime hours and/or weekend duties

Ability to follow instructions

Ability to receive, comprehend and utilize required training from OSHA and Company including but not limited to the following: First aid and CPR, Hazcom, Hearing conservation, Confined space entry and rescue, Lock out/Tag out EDUCATION/EXPERIENCES

Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)

Valid Driver's License WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Talking, Hearing, Seeing, Walking, Sitting, Standing, Climbing, Pushing, Pulling, and Lifting

The worker is subject to both environmental conditions: Activities occur inside and out

The worker is subject to noise: There is sufficient noise to cause worker to shout in order to be heard above the ambient noise level

The worker is subject to confined spaces

The worker is subject to hazards: Includes a variety of physical conditions such as proximity to moving, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places
