05/09/2025 CUSD 303 is seeking to hire a qualified candidate to serve as an Elementary Assistant Principal - .50 FTE Munhall Elementary and .50 FTE Corron Elementary for the 25 - 26 SY.
Primary Purpose:
The assistant principal is responsible for facilitating a service model that is based upon best practices, the district's philosophy and the needs of all students. In partnership with the leadership team, the assistant principal is responsible for ensuring a safe, nurturing and developmentally appropriate student-centered climate and culture. The assistant principal collaborates with district level and building level staff to design and implement professional learning opportunities that support student agency; academically, socially, and emotionally and meet the individual needs of staff members. The assistant principal puts the needs of students at the center of the decision-making process and models this approach for staff.
The assistant principal is a strategic thinker and a proactive leader who models strong communication, organization and interpersonal skills, as well as an unwavering commitment and energy to sustain momentum in the district's journey towards innovative teaching and learning practices. The assistant principal serves as a member of the Instructional Leadership Team to implement the District's strategic plan and the School's Improvement Plan.

Qualifications:
Minimum Education/Certification:
Minimum Education/Certification:
Minimum of a master's degree
Current Professional Educator License (PEL) with a General Administrative or Principal Endorsement, required
Master Degree in School Administration or related field
Teacher Evaluator Qualification, preferred
Experience with special education programs
Experience working with students with autism, preferred
Successful teaching experience at related levels
This position is a 10 month full time Administrator-certified position. The salary range (without TRS): is $72,000.00 - $95,134.00
