Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multifamily Superintendent to lead day-to-day operations on multifamily construction projects. The Superintendent is responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with company quality and safety standards. This role demands strong leadership, effective communication, and the ability to manage subcontractors and trades with efficiency and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all on-site construction activities from groundbreaking to project closeout

Maintain and enforce construction schedules, tracking progress and adjusting timelines as needed

Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, labor crews, and suppliers to ensure workflow efficiency

Monitor job site safety, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety protocols

Conduct routine quality control checks and daily site inspections

Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to address issues and ensure scope alignment

Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, schedules, and field logs

Coordinate with local authorities for inspections and secure required permits

Identify and resolve on-site conflicts and project delays

Hold regular site meetings with internal teams and stakeholders to report on project progress

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum 5+ years of experience in multifamily residential construction, with at least 3 years in a Superintendent role

Deep knowledge of construction practices, materials, and project sequencing

Ability to manage multiple trades and vendors effectively

Solid understanding of OSHA standards, local building codes, and safety compliance

Proficient in reading and interpreting construction documents, blueprints, and contracts

Experience using construction scheduling and management software

Valid driver’s license with the flexibility to travel between job sites

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field

OSHA 30 certification

Experience managing large-scale multifamily projects
