Job Description: The Engineering Intern will work with the Engineering team and operations departments to improve efficiency, quality and assist in creating and maintaining the 3D CAD parts library.
Key Responsibilities:
Assists in the development and maintenance of top assemblies in SolidWorks & NX
Performs reverse engineering of parts, parts validation, and development of the 3D CAD parts library
Gathers and maintains detailed vendor data
Performs product analysis by cross-referencing physical parts with their respective 3D models for dimensional accuracy.
Other duties as assigned.

Essential Qualifications:
Pursuing a degree in technical degree or related field. Must be local to Orlando, FL.
Must be available for 20-25 hours per week, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Preferred Qualifications:
Some knowledge of other CAD applications (NX, AutoCAD, Rhino).
Manufacturing experience desired, does not need to be within the marine industry.
