Job Description
The Electro Mechanical Technician 2 will be responsible for designing and troubleshooting minor electrical circuits as well as ensuring the smooth operation of machines and equipment. This role involves working with hydraulic and pneumatic circuits, installing electrical controls, and performing basic mechanical repairs. The ideal candidate must demonstrate a strong understanding of electrical systems and be able to interpret schematics effectively.

Skills
Ability to design minor electrical circuits and troubleshoot electrical, PLC, and electronic circuits
Proficient in troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic circuits
Knowledgeable in electrical power and water distribution systems
Experience in installing electrical and electronic controls by interpreting schematics
Basic mechanical repair skills

Responsibilities
Design and test minor electrical circuits for machinery control
Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic circuits
Install electrical and electronic controls on machines
Perform basic mechanical repairs
Dismantle electrical machinery and replace defective parts
Install and monitor electrical equipments performance
Conduct layouts, assemblies, installations, tests, repairs, and adjustments of electrical fixtures
Mount motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures as per specifications
Perform a variety of work as directed by the Group Leader
Qualifications
Two-year Associate degree and 2-4 years work experience required
Ability to utilize a computer to search for parts and enter work into a CMMS
