Intervention Specialist

St. Charles Preparatory School, located at 2010 E. Broad Street in Columbus, is seeking a proactive and principled individual as an Intervention Specialist to start the 2025-26 school year.

Primary Role and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Cooperating with public school districts to aid in the production of students' Evaluation Team Report and Individualized Education Program

Working cooperatively with classroom teachers

Assisting in classroom intervention strategies, modifying general education curricula as necessary, and assisting the student with regular class assignments

Working cooperatively with parents and maintaining regular communication

Completing progress reports for students, including students who are on the Jon Peterson Scholarship

Qualifications:

Ohio Special Education Teaching License

Intervention Specialist License

Previous experience working in the educational setting is desired

Current satisfactory BCI & FBI background checks

Have attended or be willing to attend a Virtus Protecting God's Children training

TITLE: Teacher

QUALIFICATIONS: Appropriate state certification/license:

as required by the grade levels and subjects taught

Religious Education certification as required by the diocese

RESPONSIBLE TO: Principal

JOB GOAL: To assist students in mastering the skills and information in the school curriculum while helping them to grow in faith and responsibility.
