Title: Mechanical Engineer

Shift: Full Time, 8am-4:30pm

Salary: $32 - $34/Hr + OT

Our client is a leading manufacturer specializing in high-voltage, high-current induction heating and melting equipment, serving a broad range of industrial clients. Our company is dedicated to delivering innovative solutions and exceptional service. The Engineering Department is hiring to support growth and new customer projects.

Mechanical Engineer Role:

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will handle engineering functions related to customer orders and projects, focusing on the design and documentation of mechanical systems. This role exists to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of mechanical drawings, bills of material, and technical support for advanced equipment out of the Brookfield, WI location.

Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities:

Prepare mechanical drawings of induction heating and melting equipment using AutoCAD

Design part manipulation machinery from customer specifications or sketches

Create bills of material and write engineering reports

Perform engineering calculations and assist with field service activities

Prepare and update instruction manuals for equipment operation and maintenance

Collaborate with vendors and maintain customer contact as assigned

Assist in training junior engineering staff

Maintain a high level of computer proficiency in AutoCAD or Pro E/Solidworks

Ensure compliance with company standards and confidentiality requirements

Support other Engineering Department tasks as needed

Mechanical Engineer Reporting Relationships:

Reports to: Mechanical Engineering Manager

Direct Reports: None

About You:

Hold a college degree in Mechanical Engineering

Demonstrate proficiency in AutoCAD or Pro E/Solidworks (minimum 5 years)

Possess advanced mathematical skills and apply them regularly

Exhibit strong reasoning and decision-making abilities

Maintain high accuracy and accountability in all tasks

Demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills

Show leadership potential within project teams

Understand and protect confidential company and customer information

Adapt to changing project requirements and priorities

Display a commitment to continuous learning and professional development
