Fleet Manager

Job Description

Overview: Impact Rentals is seeking a proactive and personable Fleet Manager to lead the acquisition, management, and maintenance of our vehicle fleet. This is a newly created role with room to shape processes and grow alongside a fast-moving equipment rental business.

Key Responsibilities:

Purchase and deploy vehicles across departments

Manage vendor relationships (dealerships, maintenance providers, etc.)

Track fleet lifecycle, including repairs, insurance, compliance, and legal issues

Coordinate with internal teams to meet vehicle and equipment needs

Troubleshoot urgent field issues and support operational efficiency

What We’re Looking For:

3+ years in fleet management (preferably over-the-road)

Strong mechanical aptitude and logistical instincts

Service-oriented, hands-on personality with great communication skills

Comfortable navigating a construction-based environment and strong personalities

Local travel required; must be flexible and self-directed

No degree required, but experience in logistics is a plus
